Here it is at last, Consultive Magazine is online!

After many weeks of sweat and hard work Consultive Magazine is here to bring you the most useful, down to earth and up to date information about becoming and being a consultant. This week we have three articles for you to browse through:

First up in Entering the industry, a view from inside we interview Steve, who has recently joined a large engineering company as a consultant. He shares his initial thoughts on being a consultant.

Secondly in Borrowing your watch and spotting elephants Adam Anonymous* writes about how sometimes borrowing your client’s watch to tell them the time is exactly what your project needs.

Finally in How to approach internal projects – Part 1 (of 2): The Pros our very own Mike Romain talks through some of the reasons why working on an internal projects can be good for you and your career.

We hope you will find Consultive Magazine an ever expanding, valuable resource packed full of tools, tips and insights into the world of consulting brought to you by some of the industry’s best and most experienced folk.

Take a look around and let us know what you think of the site using our Contact Us page. We’d love to hear from you whether what you have to say is good, bad or just to say hello.

Feel free to leave comments on any of our articles, our authors would love to hear your thoughts about what they write and will do their best to answer any questions that you have for them.

Speaking of our authors, we are always on the look out for new authors to share their experiences of working in the consulting industry, so if would like to become an author for Consultive Magazine please take a look at our Write for Us page.

There will be plenty more article heading your way in the future (one a week is the plan for now) so we hope you enjoy reading the site and being part of our community.

Happy reading!

*Some of our authors choose to write for us anonymously as while they wish to share their experiences of working as a consultant, they’d prefer not to be in the lime light
